Prior to founding Invenio, Germán led and monitored several investments in search funds, worth +$100M, in aggregate, across diverse industries in Europe and U.S. He analyzed multiple transactions in both search financing and acquisition stages, and worked closely with operators to build and implement value creation strategies

Previously, spent 3 years at Colony LatAm Partners (now Digital Bridge) – a private equity firm, with +$500M in AUM, focused on providing growth capital to middle-market companies in LatAm. He led and monitored multiple investments in the financial services and fintech, higher education, consumer goods and retail sectors

He has 4 years of investment banking experience at Citigroup and Santander. Advised clients in several industries including TMT, Real Estate, consumer goods and retail - in both M&A and capital markets transactions across Latin America

Holds a Masters in Finance Degree from London Business School and a B.S. in Finance from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
